What A Total Sham! Nigerians Slam Atiku, PDP Over Election Petition

Image
Nigerians are already making their thoughts known on the anti-climax that came with the closing of the Peoples Democratic Party and Atiku Abubakar’s petition at the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal. https://m.facebook.com/whatzupnajia According to Atiku, the INEC server gave him victory over Buhari, winning 18,356,732 votes to defeat Buhari who he claimed scored 16,741,430 votes. The former Vice president and his Peoples Democratic Party indeed had eggs on their faces on Friday as the INEC server theory apparently the crux of their entire case came crashing down like a house built on sand.   The silent message that indeed there was no INEC server and the entire case as it stands is as good a guess as anyone wants to guess right now.  According to a commentary on one of Nigeria’s news mediums,  ”There is certainly no need for the defence to open any case. There is nothing to defend as Atiku and the PDP had failed convincingly to prove the existence of any othe...

Buba Galadima Hits Buhari’s Smelling Corruption Level.

Obasanjo is Corrupt, I agree with you, but Under the Same Obasanjo, Governor of Bayelsa State Alamieyesiya was Impeached in his office as a result of corruption, he is a PDP member. Under the same Obasanjo Tafa Balogun Inspector General of Police went to Prison because of Corruption. Under Obasanjo, Bode George PDP member went to Prison also. Under Goodluck, James Ibori went to prison as a result of Corruption also (PDP member) Under Saint Buhari, Godwill Akpabio was accused of corruption, he decamped from PDP to APC and become Saint Akpabio. Orji Uzor Kalu was accused of corruption, he decamped to APC and become Saint Orji Uzor Kalu. Governor of Kano State Abdullahi Umar Ganduje cut red handed collecting bribe, he doesn't even need to be arrested because he is a Saint already. The question I want to ask Nigerians is this, be sincere to yourself, because God Almighty will definitely judge our actions, between PDP and APC who fought corruption more? I need answers please. OBASANJO OPEN LETTER TO BUHARI

Image
July 15th, 2019 Dear President and General Buhari, I am constrained to write to you this open letter. I decided to make it an open letter because the issue is very weighty and must be greatly worrisome to all concerned Nigerians and that means all right-thinking Nigerians and those resident in Nigeria. Since the issue is of momentous concern to all well-meaning and all right-thinking Nigerians, it must be of great concern to you, and collective thinking and dialoguing is the best way of finding an appropriate and adequate solution to the problem. The contents of this letter, therefore, should be available to all those who can help in proffering effective solutions for the problem of insecurity in the land. One of the spinoffs and accelerants is the misinformation and disinformation through the use of fake news. A number of articles, in recent days, have been attributed to me by some people who I believe may be seeking added credence and an attentive audience for their opinions an...

FG Choose Npower Volunteers As The Best Option For community Police

Image
According to the Senior Special Assistant to the president on job creation and youth employment, Mr. Afolabi Umoukhuede, one of the reason why they considered using Npower volunteers for community policing unlike the NYSC where you are yanked from your base and taken somewhere else, N-Power volunteers that are community based, the beauty of this programme is that it is so transformational because they impact their community where they reside "That's the beauty of the N-Power that the governors saw. These are foot soldiers for community policing. There's no state that has less than 10,000. Some even have more than that. Osun, for example has 17,000 and Abuja here; we have 14,000. 80 divide it into local governments," he said. He said the community policing proposal was an opportunity to engage the NPower volunteers. "That will now become an exit program. This is something that we have marketed to the governors and to the MDAs. “In the last three years or so, th...

YORUBA SPLIT OVER KILLING OF FASORANTI’S DAUGHTER

• S’West won’t take more herdsmen’s attacks, Ooni warns • Perpetrators may not be cattlemen, says Tinubu • CAN, PDP, youths knock Buhari on insecurity • Ohanaeze warns of looming national crisis • Osinbajo hopeful Two foremost Yoruba leaders yesterday differed on the circumstances surrounding the death of the daughter of Pa Reuben Fasoranti, the national leader of the Yoruba socio-political group, Afenifere. While the incident has continued to generate heated debates across the polity, the divergence between National Leader of the All Progressives Congress Bola Tinubu and Ooni of Ife Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi might further cripple the ethnic group’s chances to curb insecurity through collective action. Mrs. Funke Olakunri was killed on Friday as she traveled to Lagos. The Ooni declared that the southwest has had enough of killings by herdsmen, saying it is time for the region to unite and defend itself against murderous bandits.“I call on all the people of the Yoruba race at this t...

BUHARI’S GOVT HAS FAILED – SOYINKA

Nobel Laureate, Prof. Wole Soyinka, says the Federal Government has failed, adding that the government is not capable of solving Nigeria’s problems. Soyinka lamented the violence caused by herdsmen, the indiscriminate grazing of cattle and the destruction of farmlands He, therefore, recommended that a National Conference be convened, adding that the Muhammadu Buhari-led government can only make an impact by thinking beyond partisan politics. Soyinka said this while playing host to some students on his 85th birthday celebration, Channels Television reports. The playwright said, “The problems of this nation are beyond the solution that can be offered by this government, that’s the first admission; they have to stop thinking in partisan government. “There has always been a major problem with successive governments. It’s easier on the state level to say that a particular state is definitely doing better than another state. But the central government has failed, that’s my view ...

* We Saved Obasanjo From Being Removed as President, Says🗣 Gowon*

A former Head of State and elder statesman, Gen Yakubu Gowon (retd.), said on Saturday that he and another former Head of State, Gen Abdulsalami Abubakar (retd.), were among key figures who convinced the National Assembly against impeaching former President Olusegun Obasanjo in 2007.  Gowon stated that Obasanjo was able to complete his tenure as President because of the key roles he and others played by speaking to the then Speaker, House of Representatives, Ghali Na’Abbah and the Senate President, Pius Anyim, to let peace reign, adding that their action was borne out of the need to preserve the seat of the President.  Gowon said these at the Maj Gen Emmanuel Abisoye Foundation lecture, at the University of Abuja, tagged, “Nation Building or Nation Fragmentation: Reflections on 20 Years of Post-Military Rule in Nigeria”, a foundation where he serves as the Chairman, Board of Trustees.  The former Head of State said his action was informed by the need to save Obasanjo’s s...

* ...SUBJECT: Suing BEDC over illegal disconnection and collecting millions as compensation. It has come to the notice of Edo Civil Society Organisations that some foreign nationals working for the Benin Electricity Distribution Company accompanied with military personnel go about disconnecting customers who have been served outrageous estimated bills. More worrisome is the fact that, citizens are intimidated and harassed by the military personnel attached to these foreign nationals when they carryout these operations geared towards debt recovery occasioned by the deliberate non provision of meters by the BEDC. To this end, we are calling on any customer that have experienced such an operation or have been disconnected by the BEDC even when you have contested the outrageous bill and have made part payment to contact us as soon as possible. Postpaid or analogue meters are no longer read by officials of the BEDC, they are also served estimated bills just to exploit and extort the peopl...
